The Society for Emerging Markets Research (SEMR) is an academic society dedicated to advancing rigorous, theory-building research grounded in emerging market contexts. SEMR was co-founded by Prof. Jaideep Prabhu (University of Cambridge) and Prof. Teck Ming Tan (University of Oulu).
How do I become a member?
You can register for a free membership account on our platform. Registration is completely free with no fees or charges. Once registered, you will gain access to the member dashboard, seminars, resources, and community features.
Is membership free?
Yes. SEMR membership is completely free for all academics and researchers interested in emerging markets research. There are no membership fees, subscription charges, or hidden costs.
How do I access seminars and recordings?
Once logged in, you can access upcoming seminars and past recordings through the Member Dashboard. Seminar announcements are also sent via email to registered members.
I forgot my password or cannot log in. What should I do?
